Who we are

Lens (“Lens,” “we,” “us”) provides inventory scanning, sorting and marketplace listing software for warehouses, liquidators, resellers, bin stores and 3PLs. This policy explains what personal information we collect through golens.io and our advertising, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us:

• Demo requests and applications: your name, work email, company name, phone number (optional), the type of business you run, approximate monthly item volume, and the sales channels and warehouse systems you use.
• Ad lead forms: if you submit a lead form inside a Google ad, Google shares the details you entered with us, such as your name, email, company, job title, region and postal code.
• Messages: anything you send us by email or on a call.

Information collected automatically: when you visit the site we and our partners use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to collect device and usage information, such as pages viewed, referring site, approximate location from your IP address, browser type, and the ad or campaign that brought you to us (for example a Google click ID or UTM parameters). If you use our savings calculator, the estimate you create is stored in your browser and may be included with your demo request.

How we use information

• To respond to your request, schedule and run demos, and follow up about Lens.
• To decide whether Lens is a good fit for your business and prepare for the call.
• To operate, secure and improve the website and our product.
• To measure the performance of our advertising and show relevant ads, including counting demo requests as conversions in Google Ads and similar platforms.
• To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the details you submit for anything other than the purposes above.

Cookies and advertising

We use Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok tags. These partners may set cookies and collect information about your visit to measure ads and build audiences, under their own privacy policies. You can control cookies in your browser settings, opt out of personalized Google ads at adssettings.google.com, and manage ad preferences in your Meta and TikTok account settings. Blocking cookies may affect some site features.

How we share information

We share personal information only with:

• Service providers that host the website, store form submissions, send email and notify our team, under contracts that limit how they use it.
• Advertising and analytics partners described above, for measurement and advertising.
• Authorities or other parties when required by law, or to protect our rights, users or the public.
• A buyer or successor if Lens is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

How long we keep it

We keep demo request and lead information for as long as needed to talk with you about Lens and for our legitimate business records, and then delete or anonymize it. You can ask us to delete it sooner.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal information, to opt out of certain advertising uses (including “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law), and to not be discriminated against for using these rights. To make a request, contact us as described below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it. You can also unsubscribe from any marketing email using the link in that email.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Lens is a business product and the site is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
